Real-time Merging Figure 1. a Merge Element

چکیده
req1 ack1 req2 ack2 reqP ackP req ack req ack req ack parent client2 client1 merge Abstract A merge element combines two, concurrent, handshake streams. For every request received from a client, a merge element may send a request to its parent, and for each acknowledgement received from its parent, the merge element may send an acknowledgement to a client. We show that that a merge-element can provide bounded time response if its parent also has bounded time response. We present two new implementations of a merge: one that uses an arbiter, and one that uses Schmitt triggers but no arbiters. Based on these designs , we explore a class of concurrent computations that can be performed in guaranteed bounded time, and we raise some new questions about what is possible in asynchronous design.

Merging DMUs Based on of the idea Inverse DEA
In this paper, we propose a novel method using multiple-objective programming problems to answer the following question: if among a group of decision making units (DMUs), a subset of DMUs are required to merge and form a new DMU with specific input/output levels and a predefined efficiency target, how much should be the outputs/inputs of the merged DMU? This question answered according to the c...
متن کاملHeuristic and pattern based Merge Sort
The aim of this study is to present a stable and adaptable Merge Sort algorithm that uses the design patterns to reduce computational complexity of swaps and memory usage. The order of Settlement of elements recorded by design patterns and merging one element by another (first phase) replaced with chunk merging. This algorithm has been implemented by C++ programming language.
متن کاملBBMerge – Accurate paired shotgun read merging via overlap
Merging paired-end shotgun reads generated on high-throughput sequencing platforms can substantially improve various subsequent bioinformatics processes, including genome assembly, binning, mapping, annotation, and clustering for taxonomic analysis. With the inexorable growth of sequence data volume and CPU core counts, the speed and scalability of read-processing tools becomes ever-more import...
متن کاملSemantic Information Exchange: Merging disparate data through semantic reconciliation
The need for merging disparate information in real-time is especially acute in government agencies. For example, the Environmental Protection Agency is charged with monitoring and governing actions by private enterprise that could possibly harm the common water supply or the air quality. Being able to collect and merge information from hundreds of databases, across the federal, state and tribal...
متن کاملFeasibility of Merging Sacroiliac Fusion Computed Tomography Preoperative Planning to Original Computed Tomography Scans
Background: Spinal merging has been done with preoperative CT scans merged with fluoroscopic imaging. However, preoperative and intraoperative CT scans have not been merged for the purposes of transferring a plan. If spine surgeons can create the optimal surgical pathway before surgery and then merge the pre-planned pathway onto the real patient CT scan in the operating room, the result will be...
